Born and raised in Iowa, Chicago has been my home since 1997. I currently live in Chicago with my husband and two very energetic Yorkshire puppies.  I have been involved in public and corporate education for 30 years.  Much of my time has been recently consumed with acquiring plumbing, electrical, and carpeting skills to perform DIY renovations to our 117-year-old Victorian house that we purchased a few years ago.

 

My interest in landscape photography began about 15 years ago and grew out of camping and hiking vacations to southern California.  My photography skills and interests have been expanded exponentially from educational conferences and workshops offered thru Out of Chicago.  I had my first experience with astrophotography and light painting on educational outings to Acadia and Moab national parks.

I am currently interested in learning time-lapse and b/w photography.  I am hope to combine my interests with landscape and aerial photography with videography to produce some video montages.
